Coastguard Exercise Royal Visit Fundraising Jools Retirement Service Christening

Withernsea Lifeboat, Withernsea Coastguard and Easington Coastguard took part in a joint scenario exercise on the evening of June 14th 2006.

Lifeboat & Coastguard personnel had been involved in planning and preparation of the event for weeks before hand. On the day a 'body' was taken in secret and placed into position by Paul Davig (pictured Below) and Terry Bearpark of the Coastguard team

The new stretcher position proved difficult to monitor

After a few strange looks from members of the public to the sight of someone strapped to a car roof,

The 'body' was disposed of over a cliff.

I am sure I can feel a pulse!

Stan and Laurel were still close even on their SAGA holidays
