Monday 25th September was the start of the BBC North charity crew training appeal.

As the appeal kicked off on BBC Radio Humberside the crew of the Withernsea Lifeboat were paged to go to the assistance of the Withernsea Commericial fishing vessel 'Jason A' with 2 persons on board which was taking in water 2 miles East of the Lifeboat station.
The boat and crew were delivered safely to the Withernsea Central slipway.
