Rob Dawson,
A member of the crew for many years. Older than he looks.
Never disagreed with anyone. Quiet & retiring.
Stunt double for Leo Sayer in his early days.
. |
Des Simmonds
Started with Withernsea Lifeboat back in the days
of the rowing boats. One of his first call outs was
to
Noah in his ark. Plastic surgery has kept him looking
younger than his 130 years of age.

 |
Gary Spider Smith
Likeable chappie who had a strange affection to creepy things
which probably explains how he got on with a lot of the crew.
Sadly moved to Hull for employment. |
| Andy Cheney
Accident prone, came along with 'spider' as a package.
Luckily moved backed to Hull for employment.
|
 |
 |
Ken Fowler
Never seen sober, always had his guitar in his hand, playing 70's music.
Artistic side to this guy & has a painting on exhibition in Hull art
gallery. |
|
 |
 |
Rob Poole
Local lad, joined crew alongside other family members.
Working in the Pub trade left him unable to commit to RNLI.
|
Jonathon Ford
On the crew for about 4 years, never went to sea because he was always
drunk. Ugly looking chap, bad breath, short & stumpy but always
managed to pull the attractive women, how?

Richard 'Tug' East
Responsible for the scariest moment in the Seniors helms career.
|
 |

Jock
Always good for a laugh. Token foreigner in the crew. |
Jools Rumble
Another victim of old age, now trying to regain his youth by rejoining
the surfing fraternity. |
